Shakti cal is a cutting edge agriculture liming formulation – developed keeping in mind specific requirements of the progressive indian farmer and the complex relationship between various agricultural imputs.
Role of ca and b in agriculture and their synergetic relation is well documented and shaki cal has been developed keeping these factors in mind.
Soil acidity has become a severe limiting factor in the growth and healthly development of crops all over the world.
Over time the acidity of soils lends to increase. This is due to such varied sources as rain water containing dissolved carbon dioxide, pollution and smog containing oxides of sulphur and nitrogen, using fertilizers rich in ammonia, plants roots exuding nitrogen irons, and the natural decomposition of organic matter.
Substantial research has been done on the optimal ph range for various crops. Ground calcium carbonate (gcc) has long been used to lower the acidity and raise the ph of farmlands.
INGREDIENTS :
GCC & PCC ( CALCIUM) : 70% (MIN.)
MAGNECIUM BASE : 10% (MIN.)
SULPHUR BASE : 10% (MIN.)
BORON BASE : 1%
FILLER & CONDITIONER : 9%
Specialty minerals: ground and precipitated calcium carbonates.
The functions of shakti cal
Every plant needs calcium to grow. Without adequate amounts of calcium, plants experience a variety of problems. Once fixed, calcium is not mobile in the plant. It is an important contituent of cell walls and can only be supplied in the xylem sap. Thus, if the plant runs out of a supply of calcium , it cannot remobilize calcium from older tissues.
If transpiration is reduced for any reson, the calcium supply to growing tissuses will rapidly become inadequate . Calcium plays a very important role in plant growth and nutrition, as well as in cell wall deposition.
The primary roles of shakti cal :
As a soil amendement, calcium helps to maintain chemical balance in the soil, reduces soil salinity, and improves water penetration.
Calcium plays a critical metabolic role in carbohydrate removal, calcium neutralizes cell acids.
Gcc & pcc have also been used to reduce blossom end rot, resulting from lack of calcium, in tomatoes, peppers, eggplants,watermelons etc.
Dose: 15 kg per acre during final land preparation keeping land well hydrated.
Packing: 1 kg pouch packet and 10 kg handle packet.
